Join our Chefs at The Peak for a night of indulgence as they experiment with new dishes in an intimate and fun atmosphere. Indulge as we push boundaries to create new taste sensations that will send your palate soaring. Come and give your feedback in this relaxed and fun environment with our chefs at a shared long table from 6pm.

Make a dinner booking to discover our 5 course experimental menu for $100pp / $150pp with matching wines or stay overnight on our all inclusive package for $750 per suite, twin share for the night. This price includes luxury accommodation at Spicers Peak Lodge, complimentary welcome mini bar, light lunch on arrival, Test Kitchen dinner, a la carte breakfast and all beverages (excluding cellar masters).

Yoga on the Deck - Spicers Clovelly Estate

The morning will start at 7.15am with a Vinyasa Yoga Class on the new private deck overlooking the lake and surrounded by the serenity of nature. Your instructor will guide you through a fun class suitable for all levels (including beginners) followed by an extended relaxation. Feel free to stay for a while and enjoy the space, meditate or just listen to the sounds of the birds and the trees. Afterwards, join us in the main estate where breakfast will be served.

Come up from Brisbane and make a day of it! Get your friends together for a morning of Yoga and spend the rest of the day exploring Montville and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland! If you are a local, come and enjoy a little bit of luxury right in your own backyard.

Price is $50 per person and includes breakfast (catered to any and all dietary requirements) tea, coffee and juice.

Guest Chef Cooking Class - Richard Ousby

Richard Ousby of Stokehouse Brisbane will be hosting the first of our 2016 Guest Chef Cooking Classes at Spicers Tamarind Retreat! Join us for a hands on lesson as you prepare and cook a gourmet feast and then sit around afterwards reaping the benefits with a side of wine!

About Richard Ousby

At just 32 years of age, Richard already has several major awards under his belt. In 2012 Richard took out the title of the San Pellegrino & Acqua Panna Young Chef of the Year and prior to this he was  named the 2011 Electrolux Australian Young Chef of the Year. Beginning his career in Brisbane, Richard started his apprenticeship working in a family owned Italian restaurant and later moved to England to work for Michael Roux at the Waterside Inn where he learnt about classical French cuisine. Following a 3 year stint working under chef Peter Gilmore at Quay Restaurant in Sydney, Richard joined Stokehouse Q in late 2012, where he became head chef in early 2013 and quickly rose to the top rank of executive chef for Stokehouse restaurants in 2015.
