This certification is a testament to our dedication to protecting the environment, supporting local communities, and operating with integrity. Each retreat has implemented over 200 sustainability indicators across environmental, cultural, socio-economic, and management principles to earn this recognition.

How we’re making a difference:
- Eliminating single-use plastics and implementing advanced waste management systems.
- Prioritising locally sourced ingredients, with on-site gardens and food production to reduce food miles.
- Partnering with conservation organisations like the @hiddenvalewildelifecentre to advance wildlife education and protection.
- Supporting responsible suppliers, such as Vanguard Laundry and Koko Coffee Roasters, whose practices help our retreats give back to both people and nature.

This milestone inspires us to continue our sustainability journey, ensuring we create unforgettable experiences that preserve the beauty and biodiversity of our natural surroundings for generations to come.

The magnificent Jacaranda at @spicersguesthouse is in full bloom once again!

Thoughtfully designed to make the most of the sun, the unheated east-facing pool at @spicersguesthouse becomes more inviting every week as we inch closer to summer. The jacuzzi is hot year round though, so why not engage in a little hot & cold therapy?

It`s raining cats and dogs in Brisbane at the moment which means only one thing: calling in sick, checking into @spicersbalfourhotel and finally finishing that novel that`s been gathering dust on the bedside table for the last few months.

The transition from winter to spring at @spicers.vineyards.estate is something to behold. The once bare vines are covered in leaves again. Outdoor picnics or bike rides through the #huntervalley can be enjoyed late into the afternoon, and the evenings are still cool enough that you can rug up by the fire. The Hunter Valley in spring is good for the soul.

Big box hotels are out. Boutique hotels are in.

In one of Sydney`s most exciting dining precincts, we`ve hidden a gem. @spicerspottspoint is graciously housed within three beautiful, conjoined terrace houses on Victoria Street.

Only minutes from some of the best restaurants in Sydney, you`re spoilt for choice with where to eat, and given the proximity to Surrey Hills and the CBD, you`ll be wishing you booked a longer stay just to be able to eat more. Additionally, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Art Gallery of NSW, and the new Museum of Contemporary Art are all within a brief 20-minute walk from your doorstep.

We are still a few weeks away from the stunning display of Jacaranda trees flowering along the east coast, starting in October in QLD and November in NSW. However, with the onset of spring, the vineyards of the Hunter Valley are already experiencing the early stages of budburst, flowers are starting to bloom, and temperatures are gradually increasing.
