In conjunction with Maleny Arts Connect and the Sunshine Coast’s Horizon Festival, Spicers Tamarind Retreat will host an interactive dinner with some of the area's most well known artists. Spicing up the Arts will allow guests to get an insight into what drives these artists and what inspires them to create their unique masterpieces.
Guests will enjoy a delicious three course banquet prepared by Tamarind Head Chef Dan Jarrett with wines matched to each course. Some of the artists include - Steve Parish (photographer) & Kerry Jacobsen (Musician - Dragon & Mondo Rock).
Spicing up the Arts will bring together a diverse range of artists from musicians, photographers, chefs, painters, sculptors on what drives them and gives them inspiration in their works.

On Tuesday the 26th September, our Head Chefs go head to head in a battle for your tastebuds. Group Executive Chef Cam Matthews has set the ingredients for a three course menu, with two chefs chosen per course to serve their interpretation. The judges? You, our guests! With bragging rights at stake, our chefs are bringing their best!

Come and enjoy cooking demonstrations whilst tasting The Tamarind's award-winning Asian cuisine in the beautiful rainforest surrounds of Spicers Tamarind Retreat. Guests will enjoy six mouth watering Asian dishes and three matching beverages.
