Yoga on the Deck - Spicers Clovelly Estate

Join Varsha Yoga at Spicers Clovelly Estate for an afternoon edition of Yoga on the deck followed by a delicious afternoon tea. What a way to spend a Saturday afternoon! You work hard so come and treat yourself!

We will start with a Vinyasa Yoga Class on the private deck overlooking the lake and surrounded by the serenity of nature. Class starts at 2:30pm. You'll be guided through a fun class suitable for all levels (including beginners). Afterwards, you'll be guided through an extended relaxation. Feel free to stay for a while and enjoy the space, meditate or just listen to the sounds of the birds and the trees. After that, we will head up to the estate where afternoon teas will be waiting for us. After tea feel free to sit around the fire for chats, connections and maybe even a wine (not included but readily available).

Come up from Brisbane and make a day of it!! Get your friends together for an afternoon of Yoga. If you are a local, come and enjoy a little bit of luxury right in your own backyard.

Hosted by Spicers Retreats Group Sommelier Peter Marchant, Chefs in the City presents an amazing and rare opportunity to enjoy our regional chefs, menus and produce in a local vibrant setting, that is Spicers Balfour Hotel.
For the fifth event in the 2016 series, Spicers is delighted to welcome back Head Chef Doug Innes-Will and his exceptional team from The Peak Restaurant in Maryvale.

Doug honed his skills in many of Australis top restaurants, including Biota Dining, Rick Stein @ Bannisters, Hungry Duck and Wharf Road.

Inspired by the fresh, seasonal, local produce and regional wines of the Scenic Rim and Granite Belt, the Contemporary Australian degustation menus deliver a culinary taste sensation, that combine some of Australia's finest local produce with the world's best speciality ingredients.

The Peak was awarded two Chef Hats in the 2016 Brisbane Times Good Food Guide awards and the 2015 Australian Good Food Guide awards and was awarded 2 Glasses in the 2015 Gourmet Traveller Wine List Awards.
Doug and his team will present a stunning 4 course menu with matched wines. The cost per person is $145 (also includes welcome drinks).

Enjoy a fantastic night of exceptional food, wine and service where you will find out about the menu first hand from the Head Chef and his team as they present each dish and interact during the evening.

For the sixth event in the 2016 series, Spicers is delighted to welcome back Head Chef Sam Hardinge and his exceptional team from Sangoma Retreat in the Blue Mountains.
Sam Hardinge started his career in early 2007 and trained under acclaimed Chef Michael Jaggard of iconic restaurants Blue Water Grill, The Edge and Apple Bar, as well as Sean Moran of Sean’s Panaroma. Sam's food philosophy is focused on creating nourishing, flavoursome and decadent dishes that are prepared with respect.
At Sangoma Retreat, the ever-changing menu is inspired by fresh, organic, seasonal produce sourced locally from farmers and producers within Hawksbury and Blue Mountains region. In-house guests are offered a set menu that changes daily.
