As a true ode to local produce and purveyors, Head Chef Will Houia has gathered his star local producers who resource Amara. Focusing on sustainable and organic produce, Chef Houia will pay tribute to these producers by creating a long lunch menu based on their bounty, sharing their stories and creating new memories.
Guests can meet at our sister property Spicers Potts Point before sitting back in a luxury coach and enjoying the ride to Spicers Sangoma Retreat. Our friendly staff will be on standby to greet and guide guests to the ‘Amara Market’ where producers will share their journeys and their love of their chosen paths.
To follow, guests will be ushered into the restaurant to enjoy Amara’s picturesque views overlooking the Hawkesbury River. Guests will be greeted with cocktails from Karu Gin Company or a selection of boutique beers from Gypsy Fox.
Let the feast begin! Guests will be treated to a banquet-style lunch showcasing produce at its peak, the connection of the ingredients to the dishes and the interaction between the chefs and producers. Supporting local businesses and maintaining these invaluable relationships are in Sangoma’s DNA.
Before heading off into the sunset by car, coach or foot, each guest will receive a hamper including a gift from each of the producers.
