ABOUT THIERRY WALLAERT

Thierry was born in Lille in Northern France, and has been living for many years in Reims, with his wife and three children, the unofficial capital of the Champagne wine-growing region.

Thierry studied International Business in Paris, including internships in Munich and London. He entered the Champagne export business in 1999, joining the Lanson-BCC group, where he was in charge of export markets. Thereafter, he joined Champagne Louis Roederer in 2013 as Export Manager for countries in Europe and Asia Pacific.

Since 2022, Thierry has been promoted to the role of Export Director, taking the leadership of the whole export department for Champagne Louis Roederer, Château de Pez, Domaines Ott and BY.OTT.
