Surrounded by 22 acres of lush gardens, Spicers Clovelly Estate in Montville is the perfect setting to take part in a floral workshop. We are partnering with Terrianne Foale, Floral Director of Mondo Floral Designs, one of the Sunshine Coast’s leading florists, to bring you a creative floral workshop highlighting flowers and floral design education alongside fine food and French sparkling. Terrianne is a trained floral educator and professional bloom designer with over 25 years of industry experience.
Spend the day at our estate surrounded by breathtaking blooms and enjoy this hands-on experience with this uniquely created day for flower lovers. You don’t need to have any experience to take part in the workshop, each individual attendee will have the opportunity to express their own creative style through flowers in a uniquely supported and inclusive way.

Modern Floral Bouquet
Our first workshop takes participants through the formal tuition of a Strauss Bouquet – traditional techniques with a modern contemporary swing, to enable participants to feel comfortable with handling flowers, stem placement, line, form, harmony and design. This workshop explains the care of flowers, what’s important to get those blooms to last longer, and how to design, style and shape a design to suit your space and your vase.
The demonstration touches on the basics of vessel selection, choosing floral and greenery, flower preparation, foraging, and design techniques. All participants will then get to create their own floral bouquet masterpiece. We will also exhibit how a professional wrap is executed and everyone has the opportunity to uniquely style, wrap and finish their beautiful bouquet.
Included – paper, ribbon, materials, flowers and foliage.
Sculptural Vase Installation
Are you an entertainer? I think everyone will agree that a beautifully styled interior space includes a floral design, it’s an absolute must! Or do you find yourself offering your creative services to friends, for celebrations and events, but would love to have a better understanding of floral design?
Our demonstration discusses the building blocks of design principles such as colour theory, balance, layering and textiles, and how to create a cohesive feel to your space with a statement style vase design, all achieved in a couple of easy steps. Following the discussion, we will have a full floral demonstration and then you will build your own floral centrepiece to match your chosen design brief.
