Bird and Wildlife Adventure

Join Steve Grainger, Ecoguide and Senior Savannah Guide from Tropical Treks, on a bird watching and wildlife adventure. This full day experience is designed for the avid and curious bird observer and wildlife enthusiast.

This private tour can be designed just for you, your friends and family, and starts from the moment we meet you. Some birds will be right under our noses. Over 300 species of bird inhabit the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, including, Regent Bowerbird, Green Catbird, Wompoo Fruit-dove, Paradise Riflebird, Wedge-tailed Eagle, White-throated Gerygone, Brown Thornbill and the Eastern Yellow Robin. Other wildlife we see are Platypus, Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Red-necked Wallaby, Red-legged Pademelon and Lace Monitor.

While we are looking for birds, we’ll also learn about the history and geology of this beautiful landscape.

You will be picked up from Spicers Tamarind Retreat at 7am on the day of your tour and return at 5pm approximately. Times can vary depending on group and natural factors.

This tour costs $650 for up to three guests and $1050 for four to six guests.
