If you’ve dined at The Tamarind and want to recreate some of the superb dishes you’ve tasted, sign up for one of the cooking classes. Every Saturday, the retreat’s purpose-built cooking school runs four-hour classes in Thai, French, Italian or South-East Asian cuisine. Under the expert eye of a Spicers chef, you can whip up a four-course meal and then sit down to eat it with a glass of wine (and you don’t have to wash up!).
Classes start at 11am and for $195 per person they also include an apron, lunch and wine.
They fill up fast and bookings are essential.
