Millar Vale Creek Hike
Embark on a tour to Millar Vale Creek from Spicers Peak Lodge and explore volcanic rock walls which are millions of years old, along with platypus habitat and bat caves. Taking place on our own private property, this is truly an exclusive Spicers’ experience. The walk ventures along unmarked trail that follows Millar Vale Creek from west to east. It begins on an open, flat area of dry sclerophyll forest before descending into the gorge where we explore the creek system, home to turtles, fresh water mussels and crayfish.
$195 per person and includes:
- 20 minute road transfer from Spicers Peak Lodge to Spicers Canopy
- 2.5 hour guided walk along Millar Vale Creek
- Picnic lunch overlooking the rock pools
- 20 minute road transfer from Spicers Canopy back to Spicers Peak Lodge
This experience is offered seasonally and is not suitable in warmer summer months. The walk runs Wednesday to Sunday, commencing at 9:30am, subject to appropriate weather conditions and team availability.
Bookings are essential. Contact our Reception team via [email protected] or on 1300 253 103 to arrange your adventure.
Please note: A reasonable degree of fitness, coordination and spatial awareness are required for this hike. Descents and ascents are made on narrow tracks along the side of the cliff edge. Tracks along the creek line are generally flatter, wider and easier to navigate, however, small rock scrambles are required in some sections.
