Millar Vale Creek Walk
Embark on a half day tour of Millar Vale Creek and explore volcanic rock walls which are millions of years old, along with a platypus habitat and bat caves.
Starting with transfers by car to Spicers Canopy, you will begin with a guided walk through open woodland forest down to the creek taking in the ‘Platypus Pools’ which are home to turtles, fresh water mussels, crayfish and platypus.
Enjoy a swim in the refreshing mountain stream and feast on a packed picnic hamper made by The Peak chefs overlooking the ‘Platypus Pools’. After hopefully spotting some wildlife, journey on to the ‘Bat Cave’ which was once a shelter and potential camp site for the traditional Githabul Aboriginal owners, now home to the lace monitor, swallows and a small colony of microbats.
The 3.5 hour tour is $195 per person including return transfers, professional guide and a picnic hamper.
Bookings are essential, contact reception to book.
