Millar Vale Creek Walk

Embark on a half day tour of Millar Vale Creek and explore volcanic rock walls which are millions of years old, along with a platypus habitat and bat caves.

Starting with transfers by car to Spicers Canopy, you will begin with a guided walk through open woodland forest down to the creek taking in the ‘Platypus Pools’ which are home to turtles, fresh water mussels, crayfish and platypus.

Depending on the season and water levels, enjoy a swim in the refreshing mountain stream and feast on a packed picnic hamper made by The Peak chefs overlooking the ‘Platypus Pools’. After hopefully spotting some wildlife, journey on to the ‘Bat Cave’ which was once a shelter and potential camp site for the traditional Githabul Aboriginal owners, now home to the lace monitor, swallows and a small colony of microbats.

The 3.5 hour tour is $195 per person including return transfers, professional guide and a picnic hamper.

Bookings are essential, contact reception to book.
