River Cruise to Koala Sanctuary
Enjoy a relaxing river cruise down the Brisbane River to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. This sanctuary is the world’s first and largest koala sanctuary and it is only 12km from the city centre of Brisbane.
On the cruise to the sanctuary you can enjoy informative commentary as you glide along Brisbane’s waterfront, taking in the bustle of the city’s skyscrapers and leafy suburbs with waterside mansions.
When you arrive at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary you get to spend 3 hours where you can hand feed kangaroos and emus, experience an authentic Australian sheep dog in action, spy on a shy platypus swimming, see the amazing birds of prey. If holding a koala and learning about this iconic species is on your bucket list, Lone Pine’s Wild Encounter Koala experience is for you.
The cost is $190 for two and it includes a one way Uber from Spicers Balfour Hotel to the ferry terminal.
Bookings are essential, contact reception to book.
*Wild Encounter Koala is an additional $150 per person
