Wildlife Centre Tour
This experience is temporarily unavailable due to government restrictions regarding Covid-19.
In 2017 the Hidden Vale Wildlife Centre opened in partnership with the University of Queensland. As a passionate conservationist Jude’s Turner Family Foundation committed $18m to fund conservation & research initiatives for a minimum 30 years. The purpose build facility is managed by renowned Dr Andrew Tribe and houses a range of species, with students & conservationists working on an ever growing range of projects.
This tour is $10 per person for staying guests and will take you behind the scenes where you will get up close to animals being bred or cared for before being released. You will gain insights into the conservation efforts on our 12,000 acres of land and how students are learning skills that will take them forward and benefit our country well into the future.
You will hear of the philanthropic work being done to care and prolong our natural environment, we hope that you will depart with a new appreciation for conservation in south east Queensland.
The 45 minute tour runs Monday to Friday, dependant on research projects.
Bookings are essential, contact reception to book.
