Wildlife Centre Tour

The Turner Family Foundation’s Hidden Vale Wildlife Centre operates in partnership with the University of Queensland. As passionate conservationists, Jude Turner and her family committed $18M over 30 years to conservation & research initiatives. This purpose build facility houses a variety of vulnerable, threatened and endangered species, with students and conservationists working on an ever-growing range of projects.

All proceeds from this behind-the-scenes tour go towards breeding programs, teaching and research of animals being bred or rehabilitated for release back into the wild. You will gain insights into the conservation efforts taking place on our 12,000 acres of land and how our research students are learning skills that will take them forward and benefit our natural environment well into the future.

As you learn about the philanthropic work being done to care for and prolong our natural environment, we hope that you will depart with a new appreciation for conservation in south east Queensland.

The 60-minute tour runs daily at 9am, subject to availability and research projects.

The tour costs $60 per adult and $30 per child, or $120 for a family of four (two adults, two children).
