Spicers Retreats was born from a love of the Australian bush and a desire to share it. Each Spicers Retreat is part of its environment – something we’re committed to protecting.

Over the years we’ve taken our love of the environment and channeled it towards real change. Initiatives like the Hidden Vale Wildlife Centre and our hydrogen energy trial at our eco camps mean we’re doing our bit to ensure this planet of ours will be here for future generations to enjoy.

It’s in the little things we do each day as well – from market gardens that reduce our food miles to company-wide recycling programs that minimise our contribution to landfill.

With all of this in mind, we have unfurled a new feature in our Spicers star anise – our leaf – which is there to remind us of our commitment to the planet, its people and our future. Each person at Spicers is responsible for being the change we want to see. Everyday we move closer to our goal of zero net waste and zero emissions. By 2030 we’ll be there, and along the way we hope to inspire other businesses.
