Donating to Rural Aid this January

Growing up in Warwick, Spicers Retreats founder Jude Turner has always felt a special connection to the land. It’s why she opened the first Spicers Retreat – Spicers Hidden Vale – in regional Queensland in 1998; to give everyone the chance to experience the magic of the Australian bush for themselves.

Recent fire events and the ongoing drought will make this season one of the toughest on record. Rural Aid will play a significant role in supporting people in rural and remote areas while they get back on their feet.

In November and December 2019 we donated over $45,000. We’re extending our fundraising effort into January with an aim to raise an additional $20,000. Book in January to stay at any of our Retreats in February and we’ll donate 10% of the booking value (excludes weddings) to Rural Aid.

We’re also making it easy for our guests to donate either at one of our Retreats or online. Any assistance you can offer, big or small, will make a difference. Thank you.
