Day One
11am – Lodge arrival
On arrival, Spicers Peak staff will extend a warm welcome to the lodge and invite you to relax and enjoy a drink in the lounge whilst you settle into the lodge and take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the stunning property.
12-2pm – Lunch at Peak Restaurant
After a long drive up to the Lodge, settle in at our on-site restaurant for a delectable lunch for the parents and something yummy for the kids.
2-4pm – Afternoon activity – Scavenger Hunt
With first clue in hand, kids can set off through the eucalypt forest in search of treasure. Learn about the varied wildlife living here while navigating the mountain top. Our experienced and Blue Card qualified Activity Guide will take good care of the kids.
2-5pm – Afternoon spa treatments available
While the kids are hunting through the wilderness, parents can enjoy a relaxing spa treatment. Spa Anise at Spicers Peak Lodge is a beautiful, purpose-built mountaintop spa retreat with specially designed single and double treatment rooms, a plunge spa pool on the deck and relaxation lounge with open stone fireplace. It’s the perfect way to unwind after a day spent exploring the natural beauty of the countryside.
6:30pm – Kids Dinner
Take the kids into the Peak Restaurant where they can refuel their little bodies with a scrumptious dinner from our award winning restaurant.
7pm – Evening activity – Kids Movie Night
After dinner, the kids can settle into bean bags in front of the big screen to watch a movie with popcorn and snacks. Our experienced and Blue Card qualified Activity Guide will take good care of the kids.
7pm – Chef’s Tasting at Peak Restaurant
While the kids are safely nestled in the movie room, parents can dine on our delicious Chef’s tasting menu with matched wines.
Day Two
7:30-10am – Breakfast at leisure
11am-1pm – Morning activity – Archery
Let the kids take their best shot with a bow and arrow in hand and learn how to perfect their aim to hit a bull’s eye.
1-2pm – Lunch on the terrace
2-4pm – Afternoon activity – Tree Planting
Get the kids out amongst the vast wilderness surrounding the lodge and allow them to connect with nature with our tree planting activity. They can get their hands dirty while planting their very own native seedling and come back over the years to watch it grow.
2-4pm – Afternoon spa treatments available
While the kids are safely taken care of by our qualified Activity Guide, why not indulge in another spa treatment?
5pm – Evening activity – Wallaby Walkabout
Stroll to the highest point of the mountain and spot some wallabies along the way, once there, enjoy the sunset beside the campfire with roasted marshmallows.
6pm – Fireside BBQ dinner
After the sun sets enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner out amongst the wilderness and open air of the retreat grounds,
7:30pm – Night activity – Nocturnal walk and stargazing
Enjoy being away from the city lights where the sky is clearer and take a nighttime walk while taking in the amazing view of the Milky Way shining above the Lodge. Discover a multitude of constellations and watch out for shooting stars.
Day Three
7:30-10am – Breakfast at leisure
10-11am – Morning activity – Lawn games
Have a friendly game of quoits, or get more competitive with a round of croquet or bocce on the front lawn.
11am – Checkout

If you would like to stay for a third night, the cost is $1000 for the night and includes the following:
12-2pm – Lunch at Peak Restaurant
2-4pm – Afternoon activity – Mini Olympics
A test of skill with a couple of mountain-style games to challenge competitors of all levels, with something for everyone to participate in.
6pm – Evening activity – Northern Lookout Sunset Walk
Wander down to the Northern Lookout for spectacular sunset views. Glide off the mountain side on our swing and enjoy some snacks at the lookout before coming back up to the lodge for dinner.
7pm – Dinner at The Peak
Parents and kids can enjoy a 4 course a la carte dinner together at the Peak Restaurant.
