Itinerary

Before the weekend

Meet with Marcus over Zoom for a one-on-one session to discuss your current experience level, tips for using your equipment, and what you would like to get out of the weekend. This weekend caters for photography enthusiasts of all experience levels. This session will give you the basics to get the most out of your weekend experience.

Arrive at Spicers Peak Lodge at your leisure

12 pm – 2 pm

Casual lunch at The Peak Restaurant

4 pm

Join Marcus and our General Manager, Erin Proud, for a welcome drink and canapés with the group in the lounge

5.30 pm – 7 pm

Head out to the perfect vantage point overlooking the mountains to the West. Here you’ll capture this evening’s golden hour and sunset.

From 7 pm

Enjoy a relaxing dinner from The Peak Restaurant team. During the evening, learn a little about lowlight and night photography.

For the early birds, meet the group pre-dawn to set up for the perfect sunrise shot

Spend the morning looking for the extraordinary in the ordinary. Learn to capture those unique and beautiful details as you go beyond the settings and techniques and into the heart of image making

12 pm

Gather by the campfire for a casual BBQ lunch

Afternoon session FARM LIFE SHOOT

Take a short drive to Peak Station, our working cattle station. Here you’ll meet the Farm Manager and his family, our subjects for the afternoon. Play with light and movement as you capture the action of the farm.

Tonight you’ll join us in the Main Lodge to share stories, tips and a unique dinner from The Peak Restaurant.

Another early start for those that wish to join. Hone your skills on one last sunrise.

Breakfast at your leisure

Spend the last hour with the group to recap the weekend and discuss the magic of post-production

After the weekend

Meet one-on-one with Marcus again over Zoom to put the finishing touches on your favourite piece. Marcus will personally print your chosen image ready for you to display.
