Famed for its passion, generosity, and deeply rooted traditions, Italian cuisine inspires and entices food lovers like no other. At éRemo, this celebration of Italian cuisine continues, with the chef’s contemporary flair bringing the menu into the pantheon of modern day Australian culinary classics.
éRemo is the embodiment of cultural depth and character, and the dining experience is reminiscent of a long luxurious meal enjoyed at a close relative’s home in the abundant European countryside. The approach is genuine and heartfelt: the Avido menu takes its name from the Italian word for ‘greedy,’ a clear signal that dishes served are fulsome, rewarding, and no one leaves here hungry.
With a modern Australian influence, the kitchen explores all regions of Italy, and isn’t confined by regions, borders or boundary. Ingredients of depth such as whole duck, venison, beef, pasta and root vegetables make regular welcome appearances, as do gorgonzola cheeses, fig jams, truffles, scallops, oysters and tomatoes.
With a genuine connection to the land and a menu informed by the season, éRemo delivers a fresh, polished experience that is crafted with amore. Strong relationships with local producers ensure only the finest of ingredients are sourced, and using what’s available on the day brings a compelling spontaneity to the table.
The wine list is exhaustive and inspiring, offering the guest the chance to try something new – a rare vintage perhaps? – or simply enjoy what they love. On offer is the very best of the Hunter Valley, as well as an abundance of other Australian favourites such as Adelaide Hills, Margaret River and the Yarra. A liberal selection of quality Italian and French wines complete the enticing picture.
