Cabins
The retreat has seven individual wood cabins each with an ensuite. Each cabin features a balcony with deck chairs, perfect for reading and looking out at the mountain range or bushland. The cabins are spacious, fitted with either a queen Spicers bed plus a single bunk bed overhead or twin singles. A combustion fireplace features in each room (please take caution if using the fire if children are in the cabin).
The large ensuite bathrooms include a toilet, sink and hot shower with a four-minute time limit to conserve water. Cabins run on solar and battery power so please remember to turn off the lights when not in use. USB phone charging ports are provided next to your bed and in the main lodge. (Please do not use electric shavers, hairdryers or hair straighteners at this site, as it will drain the power). We also supply luxury eco-friendly amenities.
The maximum capacity for each cabin is three people plus a camp bed for an additional child by request. The maximum capacity for the property is 20 people. Please note in accordance with Government recommendations only children 8 years or older should sleep on a top bunk. If you require an additional camp cot please advise our reservations team at the time of booking or at least 48 hours prior to arrival, an additional charge of $20 per bed will apply (pillow and sleeping bag will be provided).
Amenities
The retreat is powered by solar so we recommend being mindful of your energy consumption. The solar panels charge the batteries and if power is used excessively the batteries can run down resulting in no power or water pumping. We recommend turning off lights when not in use and avoid plugging in appliances or large device chargers such as laptops.
All bedding will be provided including sheets, pillows, duvet and towels. Luxury eco-friendly amenities including shampoo, conditioner and body wash will be provided for the showers and hand wash for the sink. Toilet paper will also be provided. Firewood and fire-starting supplies are provided in the main lodge and within the cabins. Please note that during a fire ban no fires are permitted including the inside fireplaces, we will advise you if a fire ban is in place at time of arrival.
