Before the weekend

Meet with Marcus over Zoom for a one-on-one session to discuss your current experience level, tips for using your equipment and what you would like to get out of the weekend. This weekend caters for photography enthusiast of all experience levels. This session will give you the basics to get the most out of your weekend experience.

11.30am – 1.00pm: Arrive at your leisure

12.00pm – 2.00pm: Casual lunch at The Peak Restaurant

4.00pm: Join Marcus and our General Manager, Martin Hamilton, for a welcome drink and canapes with the group in the lounge

5.30pm – 7.00pm: Head out to the perfect vantage point overlooking the mountains to the West. Here you’ll capture this evening’s golden hour and sunset.

From 7:00pm: Enjoy a relaxing dinner from The Peak Restaurant team. During the evening learn a little about lowlight and night photography.

4.00am – 5.00am SUNRISE: For the early birds, meet the group pre-dawn to set up for the perfect sunrise shot

7.30am – 8.30am: Breakfast at your leisure

9.00am:  Spend the morning looking for the extraordinary in the ordinary. Learn to capture those unique and beautiful details as you go beyond the settings and techniques and into the heart of image making.

12.00pm: Gather by the campfire for a causal BBQ lunch.

Afternoon session FARM LIFE SHOOT: Take a short drive to Peak Station, our working cattle station. Here you’ll meet Farm Manager Chris and his family, our subjects for the afternoon. Play with light and movement as you capture the action of the farm.

Tonight you’ll join us in the Main Lodge to share stories, tips and a unique dinner from The Peak Restaurant.

4.00am – 5.00am SUNRISE: Another early start for those that wish to join. Hone your skills on one last sunrise.

7.30am – 8.30am: Breakfast at your leisure

9.00am: Spend the last hour with the group to recap the weekend and discuss the magic of post-production

11.00am: Check out

Meet one-on-one with Marcus again over Zoom to put the finishing touches on your favourite piece. Marcus will personally print your chosen image ready for you to display.
