Google - a month ago - Kerry Dunn 5 / 5 ★★★★★ Fabulous ! Such a beautiful remote location. Truly spectacular! Super comfortable room, with amazing views and inviting fireplace. Martin (GM) with all his fantastic friendly, professional staff were a credit to the establishment. All were eager to help make our stay memorable in such a relaxed style. Their service was truly impeccable, and of course the food and beverages were awesome. We enjoyed some of the great trails to walk, sunrise this morning was magical. Experienced an intriguing introduction to Aboriginal Astronomy; the 'Stargazing' presentation took place under an amazing night sky at 1100 meters far from the distortion of city lights. Making definite plans for a return visit, maybe accompanied by friends who share our love of scenic walks and refreshing conversations around a blazing fire. Totally exceeded our expectations...
Google - 3 months ago - Patricia Hosking 5 / 5 ★★★★★ 2 nights of relaxed luxury surrounded by spectacular scenery, exactly as they promote. Arrival at midday for a personal introduction, wine and lunch before moving to our room with fireplace. Staff are genuinely welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. They made the experience special. I would recommend 2 nights and a room with a fireplace though you can relax around the lodge fireplaces or hike or mountain bike or read one of their many books or savour a glass of bubbly in either of the heated spas. You can do as much or little as you want, all with a glass of wine from their smart wine list. All meals were delicious and it's such a luxury to have an included minibar. It's definitely a splurge but totally worth it.
