The overall facilities were magnificent - clean, inviting, spacious & superbly maintained. The staff were affable, attentive & certainly went above & beyond expectations. The food was spectacular & worthy of at least one chef’s hat if not more. The hiking trails range from easy to difficult & provide the most beautiful views across the scenic rim. A fantastic getaway for any reason, but particularly for a special occasion. Well done, Erin & the team.

The distraction of the gorgeous highland cows and their young calves was exactly what i needed to make my proposal a memorable surprise. We then made our way down to our lodge and upon opening the door we were met by a delicious grazing board for a private celebratory lunch waiting for us along with our champagne. We spent 2 incredible nights here enjoying the relaxing atmosphere, marvelling at the expansive views and indulging in the delicious food. All of these aspects make Spicers Peak Lodge an amazing place to stay but like anywhere the staff can really make or break the experience of your stay, and i can confidently say that the staff here are all first class. The attention to detail and care shown by staff in every department to make everyone's stay the best it could be, was obvious. If you are looking for a romantic getaway paired with fine dining in a picturesque setting nestled within a serene and secluded pocket of one of Queenslands beautiful National Parks, this is THE place!! 12/10 Unbeatable.
Google - 3 weeks ago - Lisa Brentnall 5 / 5 ★★★★★ We stayed four nights at Spicers Peak Resort and it was the most relaxing, romantic and easy holiday that we have ever had. We were happy that we went in summer as we spent our days going for hikes on the property, playing tennis, swimming, sitting by the pool with a book and having the occasional picnic. Then by night we were able to enjoy the coziness of the lodge with the fireplaces (even one in our room!), pool table, board games and any number of cozy couches to curl up and read a book. The staff were all absolutely incredible and they pre-empted anything we could have asked for. They went out of their way to make our stay so special with so many little touches that most would miss. Each one of them were so warm and friendly. And the food, wow!!! There was so much food and the quality was incredible. The degustation dinners were mind-blowing as we had dishes that were so beautiful, inventive, fresh and delicious. I would recommend Spicers Peak Resort to anyone who wants to disconnect and truly relax and have some quality time with their loved one, with happy staff who make you feel so welcome and like you’ve known them for years. You can have as much space to yourselves or socialise with other guests, the choice is entirely yours.

The food was exceptional, like eating out at Michelline Star every night. Staff were engaging and couldn't do enough for us. We mentioned to one of the staff we were going to UK, staying in a small Hampshire Viilage, it happened to be the village she came from, next day she gave us a list of places to eat at and visit when we were there, what a Gem. The location is stunning, Australian countryside at it best. Will be back next April.
