Brisbane is nature’s playground, with the coast to the east and the Great Dividing Range to the west. The Scenic Rim region is a prosperous rural enclave set in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. Surrounded by national parks, World Heritage Listed rainforest and farmlands, the area is known for its majestic scenery rivalling other mountain ranges in Australia, yet the region remains largely undiscovered.
The Great Dividing Range is the world’s third longest land-based range in the world, spanning some 3,500 kilometres running the entire length of the east coast of Australia. There are three World Heritage Areas in the range – Wet Tropics of Queensland in the north, The Greater Blue Mountains area in the south and the Gondwana Rainforests.
