Let us be your source of local knowledge as you explore New Farm, one of Brisbane’s oldest and most interesting neighbourhoods. The main building that Spicers Balfour Hotel has called home since 2010 was originally built in 1901 and has seen 117 years of local history.
The area of New Farm has undergone significant ‘gentrification’ in recent years however the architecture and hidden gems still remain.
Getting around is easy with plenty of options including driving, although parking can be a challenge. Alternatively, a bus stop is located at the end of Balfour Street and you can collect a pre-loaded Go Card from reception. If you are feeling active make use of our complimentary mountain bikes and explore on two wheels.
Take your pick of activities and plan your 48 hours in New Farm.
