How will you be enjoying Christmas this year?
“Big family Xmas at Noosa this year – my three siblings and all the nieces and nephews on my side. We are especially looking forward to my nephew and his young family arriving from Switzerland along with our daughter who will be coming home from London! All together there’ll be nearly 30 I think (eight little ones under twelve!). We might also be welcoming Jo’s English accountant and her husband who are visiting Australia for the first time too!”
What are your favourite things to eat at Christmas?
“Prawns, turkey, ham and interesting salads (brought by others!)”
Do you have any family traditions over Christmas?
“We do a bad (naughty) Santa game where you can swap your present with anyone who’s gone before you. Everyone brings a gift and the budget is maximum $30 for each gift. We usually do a physical game too, maybe this year will be a race across the river in family teams.”
What will be your drink of choice on Christmas Day?
“Maybe Aperol spritz or champagne first …. then probably a cool Chablis.”
What are you most looking forward to in 2018?
“Completing a ten year dream of the six day Scenic Rim Trail from Hidden Vale to Spicers Peak and the opening of Spicers Guest House in the Hunter Valley (our biggest property to date)!”
