Award winning cuisine eaten on the comfort of your living room floor may not be the dining experience you’re used to, but right now it is the only option for anyone who still wants to enjoy delicious food while in isolation.
Four of our eight restaurants have risen to the challenge and redefined their business in the short term during COVID-19 by offering takeaway and ready made meals.
Grandchester
Those living close to Homage restaurant at Spicers Hidden Vale in the Lockyer Valley have been fortunate enough to still get a taste of executive chef Ash Martin’s hearty meals. The team there are offering a takeaway lunch menu and a drive thru dinner option. From family spit roasted meals to curries, woodfired pizzas, lasagnas and even sticky date pudding. The paddock to fork cuisine is still as flavoursome as ever and yours to enjoy in your PJs while binging the latest Netflix series.

Sunshine Coast Hinterland
At Spicers Tamarind Retreat head chef Dan Jarrett of The Tamarind restaurant has managed to create an outstanding takeaway menu of his famous Asian dishes. And yes, the famous General Tso crispy fried cauliflower with hoisin and ginger sauce is on there too! Locals of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland can enjoy Dan’s celebrated green curry along with the mouth-watering crispy fried chicken rice bowl plus so much more.

It has been challenging to change the way we do business in such a short amount of time but it has been a necessary change.
