As past guests of Sangoma will know, it’s truly a special place. It truly lives up to the meaning of its name – ‘healer’ – as a place where you can rest and recharge body, mind and soul.
In 2015, we acquired Sangoma as our second New South Wales retreat. Early this year we closed the doors for several months to refurbish the property, complete extensive landscaping works and add several new suites to the existing accommodation.
In September we were so excited to open the doors to the new Spicers Sangoma Retreat and welcome guests to experience the improvements.
Our new Escarpment Suites are expansive and private, opening up to bring the bushland even closer, and the new bar and kitchen area are serving both our chefs and guests very well. We’ve received some rave reviews in media since our reopening, but our priority remains delivering a signature Spicers experience to every guest who stays with us.
Sangoma is now one of two all-inclusive retreats in our collection (the other being Spicers Peak Lodge), meaning your accommodation, four-course chef’s menu dinner, light lunch on arrival, all beverages (including spirits), complimentary mini-bar and gourmet breakfast for two are all included.
