We heard it down the grapevine… The Long Apron restaurant at Spicers Clovelly Estate has been awarded a wine glass in The Gourmet Traveller Wine List of the Year Awards. The Wine List Awards recognise the quality of wines, balance of choice, design, presentation and suitability to the cuisine offered. Now the Long Apron can boost two hats and wine glass, as earlier this year it retained both hats in the Good Food Awards for its modern European cuisine.
Gourmet fare and grapes have always underscored The Long Apron’s dining ethos but Executive Chef, Cameron Matthews and Restaurant Manager Joanne Hanmer are thrilled to have been recognised simultaneously for both. Joanne’s knowledge of wine and ability to pair with Cam’s unique and changing menu makes for a truly sophisticated dining experience founded on the harmonious relationship between wine and food.
