The retreat will be exclusively yours, a private nature haven for you and your group. At the time of reservation, your full booking fee will be due for payment. Payment can be made via credit card or direct deposit. Our cancellation policy is as follows; within 14 days 50% cancellation fee, within 7 days a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

Check-in is from 2pm on your day of arrival & check-out is 10am on your day of departure. There is no guest vehicles access available to this site, therefore when you book your getaway with us, you can either choose to walk in and out of the property which is inclusive of the price or for an additional cost you can also choose to helicopter into the property, or you can choose to do one of each. Please chat to our Reservations Team about your preference at time of booking.

As mentioned above, there is no guest vehicle access allowed on the road to the property, therefore you must either choose to walk or helicopter in.

The walk into the property is guided and is inclusive of the price. You will not carry your luggage to the site, it will all be transported ahead of your group and will be waiting for you upon your arrival. The walk will begin at Thorton View which is located on Main Camp Creek Road. The exact location will be provided in your pre-arrival information. You guide will meet you at the Thorton View Trailhead. Make your way to the Thorton State School which is located at 4 Thornton School Rd, Thornton QLD 4341- from here turn left onto Main Camp Creek Road, follow this road until you see the sign for Thorton Trailhead, continue on until you see the trailhead and our guide who will be waiting to start your walk to the property.

If you would prefer, you can also choose, for an additional cost to Helicopter into the property. We work with Pterodactyl Helicopters company- please enquire about this option upon your reservation with us.

There is also the choice of doing a combination of both – you may choose to walk in and helicopter out, that is also available to you, but both options have to be booked at your time of reservation.

The retreat has 6 king ensuited rooms located within the main house & a stand-alone cottage also featuring a king bed and ensuite. The rooms are available to be configured as a king or two single beds, please let us know how you would like the rooms configured when you book with us. All towels, bedding amenities are included as part of your stay with us.

The maximum capacity for each room is two people & the maximum capacity for the site is 14 people (2 people in each room).

Each room has its own ensuite, including a large shower, toilet & basin. All towels and amenities are included as part of your stay with us.

All bedding will be provided including sheets, pillows, duvet and towels. Amenities including shampoo, conditioner and body wash will be provided for the showers and hand wash for the sink. Firewood and fire-starting supplies are provided in the main lodge.

If you choose the fully catered option, all you will need to bring with you is the following;

• Hat and sunscreen
• Hiking boots if you intend on joining the guided walk
• Phone & camera charger

If you choose the self-catered option you will be responsible for bringing all your food & drinks. There is a commercial kitchen on the property & we provide all the cooking/ cleaning utensils you will need during your stay.
