Day 1

Arrive at your leisure. Book your spa treatment for now or for another leisure period during the retreat

12:00pm – 2.00pm: Enjoy a decadent lunch at The Tamarind

2:00pm – 3:30pm: Retreat opening. We’ll welcome you to our retreat space and begin to understand what it means to “thrive”

What does it mean to Thrive?
It is common in wellness communities to talk about concepts like work/life balance. In our experience, we find the pursuit of balance can be a cause of stress in itself. Instead, we like to talk about what it takes to thrive, no matter what is happening in your life.

3:30pm – 5:00pm: Introduction to the 4 pillars of Thriving

This is a practical and active session that introduces us to the 4 pillars of thriving – Movement/Breath/Mindfulness/Conscious Consumption. We get moving, we get breathing and we get mindful. This is suitable for anyone with advanced practices in these areas or complete beginners.

5:00pm – 5:30pm: Energising meditation

As we head into the evening, we do a short energising, moving meditation that will prepare us for a delicious meal and an evening of fun.

7:00pm: Dinner at The Tamarind

Day 2

7:00am – 8:00am: Early morning Kundalini Yoga

Our activities in the first 45 minutes of each day sets the trajectory for our energy. When we start with an energising yoga practice, we can’t help but to be more relaxed, confident and productive. Enjoy the breaking dawn with this nourishing and energising practice.

8:00am – 9:30am: Breakfast at leisure

9:30am – 10:00am: Mindful nature walk

10:00am – 11:30am: The 4th pillar – conscious consumption

In this masterclass, we talk about how to identify your unique nutrition needs and how to get more energy from what you consume and don’t consume. There are literally hundreds of dietary theories, each one trying hard to become the next super trend that will change your life. This is a multi-billion $ industry!  In reality, every body is unique and has different needs so a 1 size fits all approach does not work.

11:30am – 1.30pm: Get out of your comfort zone

In this transformational session, we do a deep dive into the areas of life that keep us trapped and stuck in ruts. We look at all of the ways that we feel depleted and exhausted and set powerful intentions to shift into more thriving.

1:30pm – 3:30pm: Lunch

3:00pm – 5:00pm: Afternoon at leisure OR a great time to book your Spa Anise treatment.

Use this time to relax and unwind with a good book or join us for a Toolkit session. Come and learn about a variety of high frequency tools that help to keep us energised. Sample – the power of a gratitude diary, journaling, creative expression and more.

5:00pm – 7:00pm: Time at leisure

7:00pm – 9.00pm: Dinner is served at The Tamarind

9:30pm – 10:00pm: Fire pit session

Rug up and Join us at the fire pit for a fire ceremony.

Day 3

7:00am – 8:30pm: Yoga session

Building on the last 2 days, we dive deeper into movement, breath and meditation in this early morning yoga session.

8:30am – 10:00am: Breakfast at leisure

10:00am – 11:30am: Closing session

We take all of the learnings and experiences from the retreat and create a vision for a thriving life.

11:30am – 12:30am: At leisure

12:30pm – 2:00pm: Lunch


Rachel O’Brien learned about health and wellness the hard way. At the height of her demanding Corporate career as a senior executive at Flight Centre Travel Group, she was diagnosed with a life threatening illness. Determined to find a way back to health, Rachel set on a path to find tools that would restore her to balance and wellness.

In the past 8 years, she has studied nutrition, meditation, breathwork and is a qualified Kundalini Yoga teacher. Rachel understands the challenges and demands of a busy life and she is on a mission to share all she has learned so that everyone can find more joy and balance to thrive.
